Here are the answers to some frequently asked questions:


1. What is my username and password?


If you are registered in the MITA online database, your username is listed in the system as your first and last time put together, no spaces, all lower-case. For example, John Smith's username is johnsmith.


Click here to reset your password if you can't remember it, or call the MITA office for assistance at 517-347-8336. 


If your company is already a member, but you'd like to sign up for your own username and password, call the MITA office at 517-347-8336.


2. How do I change my company's directory information?


To make adjustments to your company's profile, please follow the directions below:


a. Go to, and sign in using your assigned username and password.

b. Click on the "Manage Profile" tab located in the top right corner of the home page.

c. Select "Edit Bio" under the Information & Settings tab.

d. Make the desired changes to your bio.

e. Click on the "Save Changes" button on the bottom of the page.


3. Which employees should be signed up to receive the MITA weekly e-bulletin?


EVERYONE! The weekly bulletin that goes out is full of important information, such as Did You Knows, Tool Box Talks, labor rate information, MITA product announcements and event save the dates, etc. It's important that not only executives, but administrative staff and foremen are in the loop and making use of this vital information.
