MITA Website Upgrade Coming In Two Weeks - Be Prepared!

MITA is officially two weeks out from launching a new version of the thinkmita.org website for members! During the next two weeks, MITA staff and outside consultants (Spearfish & MemberSuite) will be working hard to ensure that the transition will be as smooth and technologically sound as possible.

With that said, whenever there is a technological upgrade of any kind, there is always the possibility that things may not switch over as magically as one would hope. We ask for your patience with us as we work through any issues that may initially arise as a result of the changes being implemented.

We also strongly suggest that if there are pieces of information you absolutely need between now and the last week of May/first week of June that you take some time next week to download them or save them for your reference while things are in transition. This is not to say that information will no longer be available...it's just that it might be temporarily unavailable, and we want to ease that burden on the membership as much as possible.

Some of the changes to come include fresh photos and videos, updated links and information, a more flushed out set of pages that cover MITA's services, and a major change from YourMembership to MemberSuite as our new AMS (association management software) provider. Our goal is to ensure that the website is fresh, informational, dynamic and user-friendly for all MITA members.

Our official launch date is scheduled for Friday, May 31, 2019, but there is a strong possibility that changes and upgrades will continue into the first week of June, as well. Please be aware of this, and we thank you for understanding in advance.

If you have any questions or concerns about this website upgrade, please don't hesitate to reach out to Mariam Robinson, Director of Strategic Affairs, at mariamrobinson@thinkmita.org or call the MITA office at 517-347-8336.
