Repairing Michigan’s roads should be a top priority for everyone who lives in Michigan. Roads are essential to our everyday way of life. Unfortunately, the roads have been neglected and it is time to do something as we are reaching a critical point where the funding has been declining to a point where there will not be enough money to pay for repairs or even routine maintenance.

Investing in our transportation infrastructure will help the economy in many ways. First and foremost, it provides thousands of good-paying jobs for our residents who in turn purchase homes, vehicles, boats, food, clothing etc. Good infrastructure is attractive to businesses that potentially may be reviewing Michigan as a place to locate their business. It sends a signal that the leadership of Michigan is willing to invest in our future and to not let our road infrastructure regress to third world status.

Now is the time for the leadership of Michigan to show that they are truly interested in doing something that is good for all of us by passing the needed legislation to move us forward toward a better Michigan for us all.
